Janathon day 21 Belgium bound, delays, delays

Today I’m Belgium bound for a week of work in European Parliament. Promoting Carbon Monoxide alarms & CO safety & awareness.

Very early start in sub zero temps to head to the local railway station. Start of delays due to weather in UK, then French weather got in on the act to slow the trains down.

Today’s exercise consists of dragging my luggage through the snow & ice, carrying up and down stairs as the lifts don’t seem to be working in the cold.

Continental Europe seems to have colder temps than home so extra pair of tights under my suit to keep warm.

I will try and snatch some treadmill time in the hotel but this weeks daily exercise will be standing & manning the CO stand in parliament.
