Thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon. Hoped I’d be out and back before the rain. But no got caught out in last mile of ride.
The majority of the ride was very very windy but sunshine and the odd cloud, then as I turned to head home the sky was black in front of me, the race was on would I get home dry ?
Flooded roads, thunder, lightening, torrential downpour all dumped on me.
First time my beloved Felt has got wet 😦 Its now dripping in the porch creating a puddle to match the one I made. I stripped cycling kit off in front of washing machine then streaked upstairs for a shower 🙂
So the forecast was wrong by about 3 hours.
