Week 44 – last of easy times

Work and then a girls weekend restricted my training hours and miles this week. But knowing that base training with a focus on running is about to begin on Monday I enjoyed my last ‘easy’ week.

Busy week in planning and entering a number of races in 2012. Committed to the Cotswold 113, a duathlon, 3/4 Olympic tri, Devizes half marathon in addition to already entered events – Reading Half, Olympic Park 5 mile, London Olympic tri and Wiltshire 10 miles and a 10k.

I have also signed up with Kinetic Revolution’s Triathletes Winter assessment as running is my weakest link I need to invest in it. After video gait analysis and help with my training program I hope to have a stronger run phase next year. I now know I have the endurance and can follow a training program and gain improvements with consistency. Just want help as I step up a distance and how to improve running efficiency and speed.

Variety still there in Netball training, Running Club intervals, a visit to the gym followed by last Aqua Aerobics.  Pool closing for 2 months – missing it already !
