To keep variety of training going I returned to circuit training class this week after about a years absence and I loved it ! Just what I need pre snowboarding. Very running based session which was good as counted as an extra run.
Managed a variety of runs – hills, tempo, club speed session. Want to get up to 4 solid runs a week when time allows as by far my weakest discipline.
First week of pool being closed hence circuit class instead of aqua aerobics – missing it already !
A couple of shoots which required walking those green hills of Wiltshire. Back to average ! Maybe peaked too early on first day of season where I couldn’t miss a thing.
A great ride with Smartt on Sunday, perfect conditions with Vic/Jacqui/Steve/Lee & Martin. A few testing hills but great views, saw two Wiltshire white horses in green undulating hills, shining in bright sunshine. A bit of a breeze but only long sleeves and gilets needed.
Lurking at back on hills but mass took me to the front on down hill sections LOL ! Lessons learnt – don’t drink at parties night before, get bike fit & get on bike more than just 7 times in a year ! Compulsory coffee & car stop was well deserved & needed today.Here’s our hill bike ride from Sunday.
