As January is disappearing under more and more water from snow and floods, the shoot season is also slipping away from us. The shortened shoot season has gone far too quickly.

Again the Wiltshire weather gave us a bit of everything – rain, cloud, wind and loads of mud !

One mule, one tractor three shooters and one 4×4 got sucked in or beached in the mud today.

Instead of my regular Tuesday trail run today it was a hill walk in mud with guns.

Probably walked 4+ miles today over sticky hilly terrain.
