Easing back in to exercise, today I rode to the Rowdy Cow in Devizes, it is a relatively flat route and the road surface was better than the potholed country lanes. Rumble strips still needed to be avoided as they rattled my ribs !
Reward for the ride was a rum & raisin ice-cream sat in the sun being eyeballed by an ostrich.
This is my second short ride this week and whilst the legs are feeling strong, I even got a few PR’s on STRAVA sections 🙂 the ribs are generally fine whilst riding but ache a little afterwards.
Great to be back in the saddle though and happy to build up the miles again steadily.
Glad you are on the mend 🙂
Rum and raisin ice cream? That sounds amazing!
All ice creams made fresh on the farm Flavours vary but usually about 20 to choose from. Stop & try if you’re in Devizes
